- Take your best route to Chester, CT, via Connecticut Rt-9.
- Get off at exit 6, Rt 148.
- Go west on Rt 148 (right turn off Rt 9 southbound, left turn off Rt 9 northbound).
- Go about 1-1/2 miles and look for a scout camp and lake on the right.
- Turn right onto Cedar Lake road.
- Go about 1-3/4 miles and GO BY the signed entrance to Cockaponset State Forest on the left.
- About 100 yards further on the left is Filey Road.
- Go left on Filey Road, up the hill.
- We meet at a spot about 1 mile in where there is an entrance to a camping area on the left.
